Construction week was first held during the Latvian presidency and included both seminars for the general public as well as for built environment professionals and relevant discussions. The event is now organized annually.

Construction have been developed by using local resources (ceramic blocks, wood, plywood, foam concrete, granules, particle wadding, etc.). At the same time thermal comfort conditions in the premises must be ensured.
